The Age of Worms
“As the ‘end of earth’ (?) is ‘sleeped’ (?) in the earth of the ‘herald of one-seventh’ (?), first of the line, the withered branch shall newly blossom.
But lo! Beneath the diamond-of-death the many maimed martinets will peer from ‘equal brow’ (?) as a blasphemous omen of ‘lurking time’ (?) is given flash by sin.
Yea! from a shattered order, a slaughtered rabble, and a silenced breathren. It shall rise and threaten the men, the women, and the law itself!”
But after the party reported their findings about the Cult of the Ebon Triad, and the burial of Alistor Land’s bones, Allustan re-translated the prophecy as such:
“As the last of the Lands is laid to rest in the soil of the herald of One-of-Seven, the first of the line, the withered branch shall newly blossom.
But lo! Beneath the diamond-of-death the Many and the Maimed and the Martinet will peer from the same brow as a blasphemous omen of the Waiting Age is given flesh by sin.
Yea! from a shattered order, a slaughtered rabble, and a silenced brethren It shall rise and threaten all!”
