The Age of Worms
A dark hole in the Cairn Hills, filled with whispering voices where teenagers of Diamond Lake used to dare each other to enter and spend the night, to see how far into the earth they dared to go before running out with their tail between their legs. This tradition stopped around CY 589, when a local girl died in there, her body never recovered. However, there is more to the place than just that – it appears to be surrounded by a magic that makes it slip people’s minds when they come of age. Riddle believed it was the “children’s tomb” referred to in the Ashborn’s divination and led the party there to investigate. The party thoroughly searched the entire Cairn, and found it to be the resting place of the Wind Duke Zosiel.
